Entering into 27th edition, the HKTDC Food Expo is expected to gather nearly 1,400 quality global food and beverage suppliers, marking its largest scale ever. The Trade Hall (Hall 5B-G) welcomes industry players to conduct business discussions on the first two days (11-12 August). Exhibitors in pavilions from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Poland, the Philippines, Ukraine, the United States as well as the new pavilion from Latin America and first-time exhibitors from Croatia, Finland and Iceland, bring the specialities and products of different regions.
This year, a new Chinese Medicine Zone, set up in association with the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM), is launched at Trade Hall of Food Expo. The Halal Food Zone and the Food and Agricultural Technology Zone introduced at last edition continue showcasing sector-specific products, services and technologies.

One of the highlights in Food Expo is definitely the popular Gourmet Zone at Hall 3B, which will be held from 11-14 Aug. Over 70 exhibitors will present their top-quality gourmet galore encompassing all kinds of Asian and Western delicacies as well as desserts, while organic and green products are spotlighted under a newly introduced “Green Palate” theme. Visitors will have the chance to taste Wagyu beef, seafood, fresh fruit, premium coffee, fine wine, jamon, abalone, fusion ice-cream, specialty cheese and much more. |
