HKTDC Food Expo is the ultimate platform for exhibitors to expand export opportunities into Asia, particularly the Chinese mainland markets.

This annual extravaganza will return for its 23rd edition at 16-20 August 2012, providing the best food-trading platform for international exhibitors.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 2011 edition grew from strength to strength, featured more than 888 exhibitors from 19 countries/regions from Hong Kong, Australia, Brazil , Canada , Chinese mainland, Hong Kong , Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia , Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.




  Food Expo – Trade Hall (16-18 August 2012)
With its geographical edge and pool of human resources in commerce and marketing, Hong Kong is set to be the Asian trading hub for F&B industry. Hong Kong's 90% processed food and beverages were re-exported to Chinese mainland and other Asian countries/regions valued at HK$33.9 billion in 2010.

Joining the Food Expo Trade Hall is the best channel to grab a slice of this lucrative F&B market. With HKTDC’s extensive network (more than 40 offices worldwide – 11 in Chinese mainland), HKTDC Food Expo 2011 drew more than 12,800 quality trade buyers from 55 countries/regions.

The Food Expo Trade Hall, bringing international food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, exporters, agents under one roof, helps generating international exposure and business expansion opportunities for exhibitors.

The Food Expo Trade Hall is open to trade buyers only on the first two days of the fair (16-17 August), while the last day (18 August) is open to the public.


  Food Expo – Public Hall (16 - 20 August 2012)
The ever-popular Food Expo has once again proven its success. The 2011 Food Expo was jam-packed with more than 380,000 visitors and most of them left with arms full.

The Food Expo Public Hall is the place to be for exhibitors to get instant customers’ feedback, thus paving the way to refine new products and develop the right marketing strategies. It is also the best occasion to enhance corporate and brand visibility.

The Food Expo Public Hall 2012, to be held from 16-20 August, will open its door to local and international exhibitors to create a melting pot where international culinary delights come together.
