Grand Opening Offers Many Possibilities


The inaugural Hong Kong International Tea Fair, HKTDC Food Expo and International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM) featuring nearly 1,000 exhibitors from the tea, food, Chinese medicine and health industries, opened today at the newly expanded Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Global Participation
Over 250 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions have joined the fair, including group pavilions from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Sweetening Business Opportunities
HKTDC Food Expo ¡V the region's pre-eminent show for the food and beverage industry, celebrates its 20th staging this year. An exciting new feature in the Public Hall is the Premium Food Zone, a showcase for brand-name products. Trade buyers and exhibitors can look for new business partners at the Trade Hall. Besides, buyers can also identify quality exhibitors under the fair¡¦s "Quality Exhibitor Scheme".

- Ticket price: HK$25 per person. Tickets are available for sale at 7-11, OK convenience stores, HK Ticketing network and the fairground.
- Use the same admission ticket to visit Tea Fair, Food Expo, ICMCM and the HKTDC Lifestyle Showcase (for public days only).
- Children under 3 and elderly over 65 will be admitted free of charge.
- There will be no admission to the venue 45 minutes before the announced daily closing time of the fairs.

Direct Access for Trade Visitors
Trade visitors can register for free badge at the Buyer Registration Counters located at the Expo Drive Entrance and Harbour Road Entrance. Buyer registration hours (13-14 August): 9:30am-5:30pm.
